it came to my mind these days that in the country of my bf, I’m considered “a tourist”. if my bf is in my country though, he is “a foreigner”. that is pretty sad…

(surfers) united
on our big surftrip to indonesia this summer we got to know many “bilateral surfercouples”. it was so beautiful to see how the world slowly but surely starts to unite. I’d love to have a group photo with all of them.
there have been l. from indonesia and m. from japan, then p. from thailand and t. from germany, e. from indonesia and t. from belgium who have a baby now and so on and so forth – just beautiful!
my blog doesn’t have enough traffic to do that, but I’d love to have hundreds of pictures of couples who are from different countries and doing fine! if you are such a couple or if you know one, please help me out.
I hope to have a nice collage or picture-video of many of us soon :)
gecko pee
do the little baby geckos pee from the rooftop? I think so, because today in medewi there have been two raindrops falling on my hand from above, but it wasn’t raining in our room *lol* (although it rains a lot here)
I really like the lefthander here, it’s smooth and nice to beginners and longboarders, although it can get pretty huge.
unfortunately bf is bored of course, because it’s not a proper shortboard-wave. and he starts complaining about everything: the dirty water, the black sand, the rocky beach – oh dear…
it happened just now!
500 followers! thank you so much, I’m looking forward to going abroad with all of you! and I hope you enjoy it, too!
toda, shokran, tack, thanks, danke, terima kasih, dankon, merci, grazie, obrigado, gracias! did I forget your language? tell me what “thank you” means in your country! :)
once upon a time…
…a surfergirl started packing! yeah!!! I waited so long for this moment :) well, I know – I start early, but I will have to do a lot of packing and unpacking until I’m really done. it’s not so easy to pack for three months, I never did that before. but it’s such a lot of fun! and anticipation is growing immensely :)))
couchsurfing lissabon
my flight to marrakech is form july 4th to 5th, because it’s a cheap one and you know… I have to stay almost 24 hours in lisboa and I don’t want to spend the time at the airport. so I thought I’d couchsurf again and I’m really looking forward to meeting my hosts. soon I’m on the road again!!! :)))
