it’s been 30 degrees celsius in the taghazout area the day before yesterday, but somehow only moroccan men think it’s been warm. it seems as if the local women here need it even warmer considering the outfits they wore… (attention: sarcasm!)
No matter how hot it is a true Muslim women would still cover herself up
I know, can you explain why? and is it your own wish and will or society’s pressure?
Muslim females cover themselves after they have reached the age of puberty. This is because in the Quran which Muslim follow it orders Muslim women to cover their head and bodies from all males except from their husband and immediate family members. Also its a women’s free will to do this and it has nothing to do with society at all and many people in the west think that Muslim men oppress women to cover themselves when its a religious purpose
you are very lucky that it’s your free will. the sister of my bf doesn’t want to cover up, but her dad and I guess family and some friends force her to as to fit in. she wants to have a job, but they don’t let her. she’s the cleaner and cooker in the family’s house. that’s her life. the world is not black and white and I know that not every muslim woman is happy with all the instructions in the koran.
what do you think about sura 34? “Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance – [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.”
